Create a Collection

Open the context-menu of the existing collection that becomes the parent of the new one (If you want to add a new collection on the root level, open the context menu of the root node). Naming collections

You are asked to give a name for the collection you are about to create. Additionaly, choose a resource type from the resource pulldown menu. The resource types may vary depending on the plugins responsible for the parent collection (i.e. xhtml, file, archive, ...). They define the type of resource that gets created along with the collection. For a collection containing only html files, you can choose between xhtml for a static html page, or none to create the collection without any resources.

Create the Resource

If you have choosen a resource type other than None on the previous screen, the form to create the resource appears. Choose the language, the template and the editor by which you want to edit the resource hereafter. Form to create a new Resource

Edit the Resource

After confirming the previous particulars, the appropriate editor loads the newly created resource and makes it available for modifications.  Editing of a XHTML-Resource in the Bitflux Editor (BXE)

Adjusting Properties

The display-order property of a new collection is set to 0 by default. Hence, the collection won't appear in the site's navigation. Adjust this value to something bigger than 0. Additionally, modify the display-name property for each language. Properties of a newly created Collection
